Topic: Temporary venues - what problems do they solve, or create? With many cultural organizations exploring new ways to meet their mission given Covid-19 community health and safety guidelines, much thought is being put into temporary venues, both outdoors and indoors. Over the past few months we’ve seen a good deal of innovative thinking field-wide about temporary venues, new outdoor spaces, and adaptive re-use of existing spaces. This session will interrogate the phenomenon of temporary spaces and consider the short and long-term implications for the sector.
